As Director of Nursing, Katie believes that effective leadership involves working alongside her team rather than above them. She is a hands-on leader, always ready to tackle the daily tasks and challenges her staff faces. By demonstrating best practices and following procedure, she aims to set a strong example for her team. She also provides education and support through hands-on demonstrations and by bringing in experts to teach new skills. Building personal relationships with the residents and their families is at the heart of her work. She wants each person to feel valued and cared for as if they were her own family.

My advice for anyone looking for a nursing home, Harmony Cedar Rapids is a great facility. The therapies are helpful, the nurses are wonderful and I enjoy attending the activities. My stay here has been absolutely excellent.

Harmony Cedar Rapids exceeded my expectations of what Nursing homes are supposed to be like. It was clean and well taken care of. The staff went above and beyond to make sure that my medical and physical needs were taken care of. The therapists were great at assisting me with my recovery and answering questions. The nurse's were untiring in their care for me and were always uplifting in their attitudes. Even the kitchen staff did a wonderful job of preparing tasteful meals. If I ever need the services of a Nursing Facility, Harmony Cedar Rapids will be my first choice.

This is one of the better nursing rehab centers in my opinion. The staff is amazing, PT and OT, is by far one of the best. And when it comes to being a clean center I would give it five stars.And the activities at the home gives you something to keep you busy. Or live music to just set back and relax to. I recommend Harmony to any family member or anyone considering go to a nursing home.
